In my career as an American Sign Language Interpreter, as well as in my personal life, I am challenged with the awesome opportunity to interact with people from various stations, junctures and ranks of life. It would seem that with all our differences we have very little in common. There is, however a fiber running through the human experience, binding us together with an unbreakable cord. The fiber is death and the cord is grief.
